Charlotte Duff

Charlotte Duff is a Ph.D. student at Georgia State University in the Department of Communication. Her research interests center around civic engagement and social movements, specifically regarding communication of and within the disabled community. She is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago’s Civic Media M.A. and Communication B.A. programs. While there, she worked on research studying youth media, co-authoring with her advisor, Dr. Yonty Friesem, exploring power dynamics between teenagers creating community media and their mentors on Chicago’s South Side.
