Maggie Riccio

Maggie Ricco is a recent graduate of Temple University, where she was a student in Professor Renee Hobbs'  "Mass Media and Children" class. She is a fluent speaker of Japanese who has been making websites since she was 11 years old. Maggie is Website Manager for My Pop Studio, our online play and learning environment for girls aged 9 - 14. She is also currently working with 5th and 6th grade children at the Jubilee School in West Philadelphia, helping them to create their own "History of the 20th Century" website. She is also supporting the Powerful Voices for Kids team at the Wayne Elementary School, where we are helping teachers explore how to integrate media literacy and technology into the K-5 curriculum.
