Michele Marques Pereira

Michele Marques Pereira is a PhD candidate and holds a Master's degree in Communication Sciences from the School of Communications and Arts at the University of São Paulo (ECA-USP). She is a specialist in Educommunication: Communication, Media, and Education from ECA/USP, and holds a Bachelor's degree in International Relations from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi, Brasil. Michele is an associate researcher at Media Education Lab and a member of several research groups, including GELiDis - Languages and Discourses in the Media (ECA-USP); GEPSI - Group for Studies and Research in the Sociology of Childhood and Early Childhood Education at School of Education at the University of São Paulo (FE-USP); and Epistemology of Educommunication (ECA-USP). Additionally, she is a researcher at the Center for Communication and Education at the University of São Paulo NCE/USP, and serves as the Director of Professional Affairs and Continuing Education at the Brazilian Association of Educommunication Researchers and Professionals (ABPEducom). She has completed training in Documentary and Executive Production for Cinema and Television at the International Academy of Cinema in Brazil, in Quality Children's Audiovisual Production through ComKids, and in Photography.
