The 2009 Partnership Award from the National Network of Partnership Schools at Johns Hopkins University has been awarded to our collaboration with the Roberts Elementary School in Wayne, PA and the UN's Alliance of Civilizations. During the 2008-2009 school year, we explored how media literacy can be used as a means to promote global understanding of people of the Middle East, working with children in Grade 3.
