Atlantic Council's Global Forum on Strategic Communication

Nikita Duke will be participating in the Atlantic Council’s Global Forum on Strategic Communications (StratCom) on Wednesday, October 3, 2018, hosted at the House of Sweden in Washington, DC. Nikita has been an active team member in managing the Mind Over Media platform and created Planet of Propaganda, a podcast series featuring European perspectives on teaching and learning about contemporary propaganda.

The Atlantic Council hosts StratCom in Washington, DC to bring together key stakeholders, researchers, government officials, and civil society from around the globe. State and non-state actors’ interference in the US and European elections, as well as revelations of their use of social media platforms to spread false narratives and manipulate the political discourse, have jolted US and European policy makers into action. Nikita will be part of the Resilience: Education panel discussion along with other media literacy education leaders.
