Feel overwhelmed by your daughter’s multi-tasking, media-saturated life?  Try media literacy!  Media literacy is the ability to critically think and ask questions about the media we see, read, and hear.  Engaging in media literacy with your daughters can help them analyze media messages in order to be informed media consumers…which will help you have peace of mind.

Now that you know some media literacy basics, it’s time to put them into practice!  We’ll discuss “What would you do?” situations, as well as brainstorm how to practice media literacy with the young people in their lives.
