Media Smart Seminar on October 26th

Join us for a roundtable discussion on digital and media literacy in Philadelphia.

You're invited to participate in an informal seminar with educators working in K-12, college and in non-profit organizations who are exploring the pedagogy of digital and media literacy. There's such a wealth of talent in the Philadelphia community! We're showcasing some of the collaborating teachers who are supporting Temple University students enrolled in the Field Experience in Media Literacy/Youth Media course this fall.

In this seminar, you'll get a chance to share your own creative approaches to teaching media analysis and production in the context of your work with learners.  You'll learn more about the university-school partnership mode that's part of the Community Learning Network at Temple and get an understanding of collaborative opportunities for the Spring semester.

This event is open to the public and all are welcome to attend.

DATE:  Wednesday, October 26, 4 - 6 p.m.

LOCATION: Temple University Main Campus, Tuttleman Hall, Room 300A (1800 N. 13th Street at Montgomery)

Refreshments will be served!
