Propaganda comes in many forms: advertising, public relations, journalism, political communication, activism, entertainment and even education.  Disinformation, fake news, memes and computatonal propaganda are changing how public opinion is manipulated today. But commercial propaganda is a profoundly significant way of socializing people as consumers. Being able to recognize, understand, resist, deconstruct and even create propaganda is a key part of becoming media literate in a digital age.Â
