About Joe Rubin

Joe Rubin is entering his third decade working in television production in Los Angeles. After receiving a BA in Communications at The University of Missouri, he went on to work as a field producer, network sit-com writer, graphic artist and for the last two decades, entertainment news editor. In turn, he is applying his “nuts and bolts” knowledge of media construction to today’s digital landscape, having developed a demystifying curriculum of media literacy education for GenZers - of whom he is also the parent of two. He holds an MA in Media for Social Impact from Columbia College Chicago.
