MediaEd Dialogues: A Forum for Dialogue and Discussion
In these two sessions, the floor is open and everyone learns from everyone! This convening uses a "question generation" protocol to discover what people in the session want to talk about. We first establish some ground rules to ensure that our discussion is authentic and useful to all participants.
The 1st MediaEd Research Jam: Media Education at the College Level
The 1st MediaEd Research Jam aims to address the current challenges of teaching about and with media in colleges and universities across the country. The day-and-a-half event will gather higher education faculty interested in media education research and practice to discuss research collaborations and strategies to move forward as we address media's impact on political polarization, students' mental health, as well as the state of media education in the U.S.
