Anna Kozlowska-Barrios

Anna Kozlowska-Barrios, Ph.D., MLIS, MA — is an Assistant Professor, Reference and Liaison Librarian, Honors College Instructor, and Fellow at the University of Illinois Chicago. She has published articles and presented on information and media literacy and is active on many national and international committees. She is the UNESCO’s MIL Alliance Representative for North America and Europe. Her research focuses on participatory politics and media and information literacy (MIL) education for college students with an immigrant background.
