Enroll in Digital Authorship at URI
Discover the power of create-to-learn instructional practices in media literacy education. Explore topics including AI in education, copyright and fair use, bias and representation, digital storytelling, and the social responsibilities of influencers and other media creators and consumers. In this course, you’ll also increase your confidence in creating media for self-expression and learning.
Are you preparing to be a leader in digital and media literacy? Renee Hobbs is teaching Seminar in Digital Authorship (EDC 534), a fully-online graduate course beginning January 22.
This course is open to all and you do not need to matriculate into the URI grad program in advance of enrolling in this course. The course is a required course for the 12-credit Graduate Certificate in Digital Literacy.
Graduate students from across the country are welcome to enroll in this course for 3 credits, which may be transferable as an elective for another degree program.
