Julia Feerrar

Julia Feerrar is an academic librarian and digital literacy educator. She is currently Head of Digital Literacy Initiatives and an assistant professor at the University Libraries at Virginia Tech. Her recent work has involved leading the development and implementation of a digital literacy framework for the university. Julia is particularly interested in online identity, digital wellness, and the intersection of information literacy, media literacy, and digital literacy conversations. She has been an active member of the Association of College & Research Libraries and the Virginia Library Association since 2014. She currently serves on the Editorial Board of Virginia Libraries, a peer-reviewed, open-access journal.
