Digital and Media Literacy: Dialogue with Dutch Educators
We are delighted to collaborate with the U.S. State Department International Visitor Program and World Affairs Council of Rhode Island to offer a one-day training to a team of Dutch journalists, educators and academics who are visiting the United States with an interest in digital and media literacy.

Program goals:
- Provide participants with a better understanding of the differences and similarities between the U.S. and the Dutch education systems
- Examine different educational methods that teach digital and media literacy skills and the use of new technologies in the classroom.
- Learn best practices within secondary school education from curriculum design to teacher training
- To examine public-private and public-public partnership opportunities in teaching digital and media literacy skills in secondary school curricula
