EDC 534: Seminar in Digital Authorship

GRADUATE CERTIFICATE IN DIGITAL LITERACY

It's time to register for EDC 534 Seminar in Digital Authorship. This fully-online graduate course will be taught by Renee Hobbs using an open-network learning environment, where we'll use Google Hangouts, Twitter, YouTube and other creative multimedia production platforms to integrate digital media, technologies and instructional strategies that enable students to be authors of their own learning. 

 

DATES: Course runs January 26 - May 2, 2015 

TIME: This is a fully-online course with optional, non-required Google Hangouts each Monday from 7 - 8 p.m.  

LOCATION: Take this class from the comfort of your home - all meetings, activities and work occurs online 

TUITION FEE: $1,923 for non-matriculating students (Special Programs). URI grad students can enroll in this course as an elective. Current students and others using assistantship funds may register for this course as an independent study course instead of a Special Programs course. 2. On January 20, you will receive an email from the instructor with details about how to participate in the first online class meeting, scheduled for Monday, January 26 at 7 p.m.
