Kristina Cordero
Kristina Cordero, PhD, is a researcher and product developer in the edtech space who started out with a BA in Literature and ended up with a PhD in Computer Science. In 2013, she wrote and published a bilingual children’s book, and used the text and pictures to create the reading-and-writing apps that formed the basis of her PhD project. She currently teaches in the Modern Languages Department at Brooklyn College, CUNY, conducts research on reading, writing, libraries and technology, and works as a consultant on editorial and technology projects.
Cristina Mota
Cristina Mota, PhD, has a background in Artificial Intelligence and her research focus on Natural Language Processing (NLP) over 25 years. She has been an early childhood robotics educator for 7 years. She is currently a research associate at INESC-ID working on paraphrasing systems and also the founder and CEO of Kinderbots.org, a non-profit focused on teaching children computer science and robotics.
Kate Dalton
Kate Dalton is the co-founder and CEO of Mucktracker, where she creates tech tools and curriculum to support critical media literacy instruction and authentic assessment. She earned her Master’s degree in Secondary English Education and taught high school English for seven years in Washington, D.C. and New York. She currently serves as a writing assessment consultant within the New York City Department of Education’s Office of Teaching and Learning.
