Digital citizenship includes the myriad of skills people need for full, civic participation in our increasingly digital world. These skills, including media literacy, are often taught haphazardly in schools through standalone lessons, special events, or by teachers who happen to be passionate about the topic. The result is inequitable exposure to watered-down ideas and very little opportunity for students to grow in their skillsets across their K-12 experience. In this webinar, Drs. Mattson and Lindsey will present their Edvolve Digital Citizenship Framework. This framework lays a blueprint for the skills, concepts, and enduring understandings that all students should have the opportunity to master. Their framework is cross-walked with multiple sets of national learning standards and has been peer-reviewed by leaders in the field. Join them to learn more about the framework, why and how it was developed, and how you can utilize it in your own work.
