Teen Film Lab: Spring 2015

On March 7th and 21st, the Media Education Lab is delighted to co-sponsor this educational adventure for Rhode Island high school students!
 

2015 MAKE-A-MINUTE-MOVIE Challenge

Saturday, March 7 2015 from 9:30am – 6:00pm - Providence URI Campus

Saturday, March 21 2015 from 9:30am – 6:00pm - URI Kingston Main Campus 

The Teen Film Lab 2015 invites high school aged filmmakers to participate in the “Make a Minute Movie” Challenge, where teens collaborate to challenge their filmmaking skills in this fun, fast-paced creative production activity!

WHAT: Student teams will have 6 hours to write, shoot, and screen a film with the guidance of a coach. New this year: includes special coaching on using shots and angles to effectively tell your story on film

WHO: Any Rhode Island student between the ages of 14-18 is eligible to apply. Teachers can sponsor a team of students from a single school.

COST: FREE!
